Cool Bananas Croydon is all about children and families. We are committed to providing a co-ordinated approach to a warm, nurturing and engaging environment that celebrates diversity and the right of every child to have access to high quality education and care based on their individual needs.
Our aim is to provide an environment where your children can grow and develop to their full potential. As you walk through our service, you will be amazed by the distinct sense of calm, the way that the teachers interact with the children and the productive and meaningful work that children are engaged in.
3 FUN-FILLED ROOMS
TINY TURTLES
Our babies room works to create a stable and consistent environment that children feel comfortable in. We maintain consistency through ensuring that children in this room are seeing the same educators every day and reflecting routine from home into routine at the centre.
SPARKLING STARFISH
Our Sparkling Starfish room is a creative, imaginative, and innovative zone for children aged 2-3. We implement a hands-on teaching approach to role-model positive behaviours and create fun and exciting programs that are based off the interests of the children.
DAZZLING DOLPHINS
In our Dazzling Dolphins, we implement strong educational foundations in our classroom as the children get ready for school. Our Educational Leader works closely with this room to create an engaging and valuable school readiness program for the children who are preparing to transition.

JULIA
My favourite part about working in the Early Childhood industry is being able to make a difference in the lives of young children. Being an educator is extremely rewarding and I love being able to create close and meaningful bonds with the children across the centre. As Cool Bananas is a small centre, I feel that the relationships I have with both the families and the children are extremely strong and deep as I have been able to invest a lot of time in each person.
NICOLA
I am a nurturing and empathetic person which is reflected in me as an educator. I enjoy being in the nursery room and have a special bond with the babies in our centre. Our nursery aims to provide a “home away from home” environment that fosters the development of the vital first years. I enjoy creating sensory based experiences that help children develop their fine and gross motor skills. Our centre builds safe and secure relationships with all children and families.
MARISSA
I have been an educator for Cool Bananas for 3 years and I am working towards my Diploma. I enjoy creating fun and exciting experiences for the children that are centred around their interests. I am a creative person and strive to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment for all children. I value the importance of role-modelling positive behaviours and aim to always immerse myself in children’s experiences.
YOSRA
I have been in the Early Childhood industry since 2006. As an educator, I value hands-on experiences and nature play that extends on children’s interests. I endeavour to build strong and trusting relationships with all children and families in the centre and feel that as an educator, there are always new skills to learn.
